Participants learnto create over twenty balloon animals, spin out with UFO balloons and make a balloonhelicopter that really flies! Welcome to The Ballet Academy at Lindbergh! We have a fantastic team of skilled ballet instructors lead by Mrs. Kay Tabisaura, RAD, RTS. Pre-K Creative Dance: Ages 3.5-5 (Instructor - Mrs. September) Jumping over streams and soaring like birds, students will move through an imaginative dance adventure. This fun-filled class will help strengthen gross motor skills. We'll use music, rhythm, and gestures that are playful and creative. No previous experience necessary. (class attire: boys- white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers; girls- pink short sleeved leotard, pink- or skin-colored tights, pink skirt, pink ballet slippers) Kinder Ballet: Ages 5 - 6 (Instructor - Mrs. Kay) This class will follow the RAD Pre-Primary syllabus and aims to develop coordination, musicality, and ability to express emotions through movement. Classes include the preparation of creative dances and simple choreography. (class attire: boys- white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers; girls- pink short sleeved leotard, pink tights, pink skirt, pink ballet slippers) Pre-Ballet: Ages 6-7 (Instructor - Mrs. Kay) A preparation for formal ballet lessons, these classes focus on dance technique, musicality and refining gross motor skills. This class will follow the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Primary syllabus. (class attire: boys- white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers; girls- pink short sleeved leotard, pink tights, pink skirt, pink ballet slippers) Young Dancers: Ages 8+ (Instructors - Mrs. Kay & Mrs. September) An introduction to formal classical ballet technique, correct posture, turn-out, feet articulation, and introduction to basic dance vocabulary. At this level it is strongly recommended that students come to class twice a week. (class attire: boys- white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers; girls- navy blue tank leotard, pink, pink ballet slippers)Le Petit Ballet: Ages 10+ (Instructor- Mrs. Kay) Turning steps, allegro and adagio will be introduced at this level. Students are expected to recall exercise settings/short dances, please have previous ballet training. Character dance will be included in the classes. (class attire: boys- white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers; girls- navy blue tank leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers) Ballet Royale: Ages 13+ (Instructor - Mrs. Kay) Build on your skill at a quick pace with longer and more complicated "enchainements" or combinations. This class is for the more advanced student and includes point work. (class attire: boys- white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers; girls- black leotard (any style), pink tights, pink ballet slippers) All classes: Please have hair pulled away from face in bun or ponytail. For those with short hair, headbands or clips are recommended.

Amateur Robotics inspired by Lego building: we will learn, stem topics and build moving models, using Lego bricks, motors and gears. ALL NEW MODELS. Build self-confidence. Develop problem-solving skills. Foster teamwork and collaboration. Spark imagination. Improve 3D spatial understanding and Math abilities. All students take home a custom-made mini figure.

Chatterbox Studios is a hands-on podcast program where kids become the voices behind the mic! Participants learn how to plan, record, and produce their own podcasts while building confidence, creativity, and communication skills.

Kids travel the globe through art - discovering how creativity connects culture and inspires innovation. Combine ancient history with hands-on art activities! From island statues to ancient pyramids, kids discover world wonders created by different civilizations and learn new art skills. Craft one-of-a-kind, landmark-inspired masterpieces while building creativity and confidence.

Calling all new and experienced Archers!! This fantastic after school club was designed to combine the discipline, focus, and skill needed for archery with the excitement of being able to safely play games like Charades, Castle Defense, Team Competitions, and RC Car targets. With a high energy warm up game and different activities each session this club is sure to impress. Offered in partnership with The Recreation Academy.

Learn how to play the guitar! Join this semester-long program to develop and improve your skills. Instructed by Lindbergh Music Educator Mike Franzel. All guitar lessons are held at Kennerly Elementary School.

Our fun and unique program is specially designed for children in K-5th grade. This curriculum incorporates karate, fun and fitness. Robinson's karate instructors teach basic blocks, punches and kicks while emphasizing a healthy attitude versus absolute precision. Karate can help children improve their focus and concentration and develop self-confidence through exciting and organized activities delivered in a supportive environment. This before-school club provides 5th grade students the opportunity to explore and practice a variety of percussion instruments. Includes an in-school performance at the Long Winter Assembly on December 18 and after-school concert for families on December 16. Taught by Long Music Educator, Mrs. Noelle Nations.

Join Jessie Bahr of Messy Middle Studio for a hands-on, process-based art class designed for students in grades 3–5. Warm cocoa, cool art, and cozy vibes! Join Mrs. Stevens for an afternoon filled with winter fun and sweet sips. No experience necessary. Students will create a snowy masterpiece to take home, and enjoy cups of cocoa at the hot cocoa bar. It's the perfect blend of creative action and warm, winter, relaxation!

Join Michizzle Productions for a hands-on experience in the world of filmmaking! During this semester long class students will work together to produce a short film by creating a story, writing a script, and bringing it to life using professional grade equipment. Their hard work will be showcased on the last of class during their Oscar ceremony!

Lights, Camera, Action! Through hands-on experience, students will learn the 5 steps to video making, how to operate a DSLR camera, how to edit videos, sound editing and music production, learn how to use a Green Screen and so much more! This class is taught by Michelle Brown, owner of Michizzle Productions.
