Participants learnto create over twenty balloon animals, spin out with UFO balloons and make a balloonhelicopter that really flies! Each day, take home a different novelty balloon— race car balloons,rocket balloons, and more! Come join the fun in this unique, creative program!

Swim your way to better health! Take to the water without interruption from other swimmers. Six lanes dedicated for lap swimming. Circle swimming will be observed, max of 3 per lane. Swimsuits are required. For strong swimmers only! Please note that the minimum depth is seven feet.

Welcome to The Ballet Academy at Lindbergh! We have a fantastic team of skilled ballet instructors lead by Mrs. Kay Tabisaura, RAD, RTS. Pre-K Creative Dance: Ages 3.5-5 (Instructor - Mrs. September) Jumping over streams and soaring like birds, students will move through an imaginative dance adventure. This fun-filled class will help strengthen gross motor skills. We'll use music, rhythm, and gestures that are playful and creative. No previous experience necessary. (class attire: boys- white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers; girls- pink short sleeved leotard, pink- or skin-colored tights, pink skirt, pink ballet slippers) Kinder Ballet: Ages 5 - 6 (Instructor - Mrs. Kay) This class will follow the RAD Pre-Primary syllabus and aims to develop coordination, musicality, and ability to express emotions through movement. Classes include the preparation of creative dances and simple choreography. (class attire: boys- white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers; girls- pink short sleeved leotard, pink tights, pink skirt, pink ballet slippers) Pre-Ballet: Ages 6-7 (Instructor - Mrs. Kay) A preparation for formal ballet lessons, these classes focus on dance technique, musicality and refining gross motor skills. This class will follow the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Primary syllabus. (class attire: boys- white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers; girls- pink short sleeved leotard, pink tights, pink skirt, pink ballet slippers) Young Dancers: Ages 8+ (Instructors - Mrs. Kay & Mrs. September) An introduction to formal classical ballet technique, correct posture, turn-out, feet articulation, and introduction to basic dance vocabulary. At this level it is strongly recommended that students come to class twice a week. (class attire: boys- white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers; girls- navy blue tank leotard, pink, pink ballet slippers)Le Petit Ballet: Ages 10+ (Instructor- Mrs. Kay) Turning steps, allegro and adagio will be introduced at this level. Students are expected to recall exercise settings/short dances, please have previous ballet training. Character dance will be included in the classes. (class attire: boys- white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers; girls- navy blue tank leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers) Ballet Royale: Ages 13+ (Instructor - Mrs. Kay) Build on your skill at a quick pace with longer and more complicated "enchainements" or combinations. This class is for the more advanced student and includes point work. (class attire: boys- white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers; girls- black leotard (any style), pink tights, pink ballet slippers) All classes: Please have hair pulled away from face in bun or ponytail. For those with short hair, headbands or clips are recommended.

Amateur Robotics inspired by Lego building: we will learn, stem topics and build moving models, using Lego bricks, motors and gears. ALL NEW MODELS. Build self-confidence. Develop problem-solving skills. Foster teamwork and collaboration. Spark imagination. Improve 3D spatial understanding and Math abilities. All students take home a custom-made mini figure.

Chatterbox Studios is a hands-on podcast program where kids become the voices behind the mic! Participants learn how to plan, record, and produce their own podcasts while building confidence, creativity, and communication skills.

Kids travel the globe through art - discovering how creativity connects culture and inspires innovation. Combine ancient history with hands-on art activities! From island statues to ancient pyramids, kids discover world wonders created by different civilizations and learn new art skills. Craft one-of-a-kind, landmark-inspired masterpieces while building creativity and confidence.

Combines virtual classroom instruction, in person driving, and behind the wheel observation. Learn skills related to traffic laws, vehicle dynamics and driving situations while using techniques for defensive driving. Students must be at least 15 years of age with a valid Missouri driving permit. This is a non-credit course but may help qualify for auto insurance discounts. Total of 4 hours of drive time using a Community Ed. vehicle is included. All classes are led by certified driving instructors. Classroom portion offered through virtual learning and will not meet in person. The instructor will email you prior to the start of class with links and any other information. Drive time sign up will take place at a later time TBD. Drive time will be in person.

Calling all new and experienced Archers!! This fantastic after school club was designed to combine the discipline, focus, and skill needed for archery with the excitement of being able to safely play games like Charades, Castle Defense, Team Competitions, and RC Car targets. With a high energy warm up game and different activities each session this club is sure to impress. Offered in partnership with The Recreation Academy.

Learn the proper alignment for your unique body using the most common yoga postures. These poses will be accessible for all skill levels. Class will begin with a warm-up of Somatics and Yin to prepare the body for asana. Class will end with more Somatics to relax and release any muscle tension before moving into Savasana (deep rest) to finish our practice.

Learn how to play the guitar! Join this semester-long program to develop and improve your skills. Instructed by Lindbergh Music Educator Mike Franzel. All guitar lessons are held at Kennerly Elementary School.

This course is designed for students that have already completed the Youth Intro to Kayaking Course. A full set of whitewater kayaking gear (helmet, paddle, skirt, and pfd will be worn for the duration of each class session. Students will 1) work on bracing techniques to keep their boat upright in turbulent water 2) Build Edge Control and Hip Snap Strength for turning and bracing 3) Perform tasks underwater including the "wet exit with skirt" to build comfort and precision. 4) Learn elements of "the roll", a technique used to roll a capsized boat right side up Students must secure all necessary gear ahead of time. Whitewater Kayaking is wild! Come discover this fun and exciting sport! Enjoy games to start building your skills and strength to help start kayaking. Learn basic paddle strokes, boat balance, boat entry/exit, and intro to river running skills/communication. Boats and paddles are included. No additional equipment needed. This course is taught by instructors with Missouri Whitewater Association. You must be comfortable swimming and treading in deep water, as the pool depth is 7 feet. *Please note, adults must have a child enrolled in the class to register. This before-school club provides 5th grade students the opportunity to explore and practice a variety of percussion instruments.
