Intro to Whitewater Kayaking: Ages 7-15 (and Parents!)

Whitewater Kayaking is wild!  Come discover this fun and exciting sport! Enjoy games to start building your skills and strength to help start kayaking. Learn basic paddle strokes, boat balance, boat entry/exit, and intro to river running skills/communication. Boats and paddles are included.  No additional equipment needed. This course is taught by instructors with Missouri Whitewater Association. You must be comfortable swimming and treading in deep water, as the pool depth is 7 feet. *Please note, adults must have a child enrolled in the class to register.
